Myofunctional Therapy program for adults
I place a stronger focus on breathing retraining for my adult patients while also incorporating myofunctional therapy exercises to help tone the muscles around the back of the mouth and throat. We will work on proper tongue placement which will help create more room for your airway. We will meet weekly for the first month and then every other week for months 2 and 3. I will give you new exercises to work on at home at each session
Myofunctional therapy program for Kids ages 6-15
Kids are growing rapidly and the tongue and lips play a crucial role in the growth and development of the jaws and airway. I work with kids these ages to encourage nasal breathing, lip seal, proper tongue position and correct swallowing patterns. All of these help encourage wider dental arches which create more room for the tongue and airway. We will meet every other week for new exercises to practice at home, with therapy typically lasting 6-8 months.
Mini Myo Program for ages 2-5
This is a modified version of the older kids program to start building a healthy foundation while making the exercises fun and achievable for this age group. This is a great program to help eliminate poor habits like thumb sucking and pacifier use. This package includes a Myo Munchee. We will meet every other week for new exercises to practice at home with therapy typically lasting 4-6 months.
