Restore Function, Breathe Easier, Sleep Deeper
Through myofunctional therapy & Buteyko breathing
what is Myofunctional therapy?
Myofunctional therapy is a specialized program of exercises that focuses on strengthening and coordinating the muscles of the tongue, mouth and face. It is designed to correct improper oral habits such as mouth breathing, tongue thrust and incorrect swallowing patterns. Left untreated, these poor habits lead to inefficient breathing, poor sleep, dry mouth and dental issues like open bites or narrow, crowded arches. By retraining these muscles, Myofunctional Therapy helps promote proper tongue posture, lip seal at rest, nasal breathing and therefore, overall oral function. I incorporate Buteyko breathing methods to help retain inefficient breathing patterns. My goal is to help you breathe easier, sleep better and feel your best naturally and effectively

Comprehensive
My approach goes beyond therapy exercises alone. Each treatment plan is comprehensive and tailored to your individual needs, with recommendations and referrals to trusted providers when additional care may be beneficial. By addressing all contributing factors, we can work toward lasting improvements in breathing, oral function, sleep and overall health.
Lasting results
By addressing the root causes of dysfunctional oral habits and breathing patterns, Myofunctional Therapy helps create lasting changes in your health. Rather than simply managing symptoms, the goal is to build strong foundations and sustainable habits that continue to benefit you long after therapy is complete.
